Thank You: NCBA Executives dine with customers to show appreciation

Mark Muyobo, the Chief Executive Officer of NCBA Bank Uganda, and John Gachora, the NCBA Group Executive Director from Kenya, expressed their gratitude for the support from their clients that led to the bank’s increased profit margins in 2023.

The two executives hosted an appreciation dinner last Friday in Kampala to acknowledge the customers’ contributions to the bank.

“We are deeply thankful for your continued support and trust. We eagerly anticipate achieving even greater milestones together,” said Muyobo.

Gachora added, “Our customers are the bedrock of our operations, and this evening serves as a testament to their loyalty, resilience, and trust in our services.”

At the same event, MTN Uganda Chairman Charles Mbiire advised banks to invest more time in collaborating with telecom companies to meet their ever-growing business targets. Mbiire was speaking as the chief guest.

NCBA partners with MTN to operate the micro-loan product dubbed Mokash. The uptake of the Mokash loan product among MTN’s clients has been growing over time and contributing income to both parties.

In 2023, NCBA Bank Uganda reported a net profit of Shs27 billion, marking a significant 17% increase from the previous year’s performance.
