Executives signed the partnership documents in Kampala this week

Diamond Trust Bank and UAP Old Mutual Insurance Uganda have joined forces in a partnership to offer a range of general and medical insurance products and services to their customers.

This collaboration aims to deepen and broaden insurance accessibility within the two organizations.

Through this partnership, DTB becomes a one-stop center for banking and insurance services, reflecting the mutual desire of both companies to promote insurance inclusion and expansion.

The array of insurance services provided will offer extensive coverage to protect customers’ personal, business, and corporate interests.

Among the insurance products and services to be made available at DTB Uganda Outlets are Motor Comprehensive Insurance, Medical Insurance, Travel Insurance, and Domestic Packages for homes, among others.

These offerings will be tailored to meet customer-centric needs, resulting in varying premiums based on coverage levels.

During the signing ceremony of the Partnership Agreement in Kampala on March 11, DTB’s Managing Director, Varghese Thambi, highlighted that this collaboration signifies DTB’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its clientele and enhancing their financial well-being.

Caroline Owomuhangi, Marketing and Communications Specialist at UAP Old Mutual Insurance, emphasized that this partnership underscores a shared dedication to delivering value and convenience to customers.

Both entities aim to become the preferred choice for customers by providing solutions that cater to their needs throughout their lives.

Executives from both companies urged Ugandans to embrace insurance products and services, emphasizing the role of insurance in promoting business and economic stability by mitigating risks.

The partnership between DTB and UAP Old Mutual Insurance will offer customers innovative coverage options, customer-centric policy terms, and streamlined claims processes to improve the overall customer experience.

This bancassurance partnership ensures that customers can access both banking and insurance services seamlessly.
